Safecontractor introduces Safecontractorplus
Ethical and sustainable sourcing was not a high priority for businesses during the recession, cost reduction was what mattered most. With the economy growing again and ethical scandals caused by shortcomings in labour, safety, management and environmental practices, becoming an increasing feature of news reports; fearful for their reputation, businesses are starting to invest heavily in supply chain audits.
Building on its reputation for health and safety excellence, Safecontractor is delighted to introduce Safecontractorplus. Discreet questionnaires that are designed to enable contractors to inform their clients about their sustainable and ethical practices.

Covering Equality and Diversity, Environment and Quality, each question set closely mirrors the format used by PAS91, however, adapted to apply to all industries.

The self-certification questionnaires are available to purchase by Safecontractor members from the 8th September 2015, through the Safecontractor Accreditation Portal. Those clients wishing to obtain further information about how this might be applied to their contractor, can do so by contacting their Safecontractor Key Account Manager. Safecontractor clients will have the ability to view Safecontractorplus questionnaires through their Safecontractor Client Portal from 8th September 2015. In addition clients will have the facility to search specifically for Safecontractor members who have purchased the Safecontractorplus questionnaires.
